How to play all seven daily puzzles
7Puzzles.com has seven different free games each day. Every game contributes up to 1,000 points towards a possible daily total of 7,000. The puzzles reset together at midnight UK time; you can return to an unfinished game on the same device.
Each game tests a different approach to thinking. Choose a game below to see its rules, scoring and a link to today’s playable puzzle. These instructions do not reveal the daily answers.
RULE
Work out the single rule that separates the fitting examples from the non-fitting examples, then prove you understand it.
How to play
- Study the examples marked Fits and Does not fit.
- Use up to two optional tests if you need more evidence. Each test costs points.
- When you are confident, classify every proof example.
- Lock your proof. The puzzle then moves permanently into review mode for the day.
How scoring works
- Start with 1,000 points.
- Each optional test costs 100 points.
- Each incorrect proof classification costs 180 points.
- Your score is frozen once you submit the proof.
Tip: Look for a rule that explains every example, not just most of them.
FAULT
Spot the single incorrect item in each of five rounds.
How to play
- Read the prompt for the current round.
- Choose the one option that breaks the pattern or statement.
- Lock your answer and continue through all five rounds.
- After round five, review every answer and explanation.
How scoring works
- There are five rounds worth up to 200 points each.
- Wrong choices reduce the score for that round.
- The five rounds combine into a maximum of 1,000 points.
Tip: Do not assume every round uses the same kind of logic.
99%
Predict which of two choices general reference data indicates most people would choose. Your own preference does not matter.
How to play
- Read each forced-choice question.
- Choose the option you think the majority would select.
- Your answer is locked before the reference percentage is revealed.
- Complete all five questions to see the reference results.
How scoring works
- Each correct majority prediction is worth 200 points.
- Five correct predictions score 1,000 points.
- The general reference data is fixed before play so everybody is judged against the same benchmark.
Tip: Answer for the crowd, not yourself.
THE LINE
Arrange five items from lowest to highest without initially being told what hidden scale is being measured.
How to play
- Study the five items and infer a likely hidden dimension.
- Drag the handle on each row to reorder the five items from lowest to highest.
- Submit the complete line. You will learn how many positions are exactly correct.
- You have up to three attempts before the answer is revealed.
How scoring works
- First-attempt solve: 1,000 points.
- Second-attempt solve: 850 points.
- Third-attempt solve: 700 points.
- An unsolved line still receives a reduced completion score.
Tip: Look for a dimension that can sensibly compare every item.
ENOUGH
Identify the mystery answer while spending as few points as possible on clues.
How to play
- Start with only the category and answer choices.
- Reveal any clue you want; each has a visible point cost.
- Commit to an answer whenever you think you know enough.
- Incorrect guesses cost points. You have a limited number of guesses.
How scoring works
- Start with 1,000 points.
- Every revealed clue subtracts its displayed cost.
- Each wrong guess costs 180 points.
- Solving with less information produces the strongest score.
Tip: The cheapest clue is not always the most useful.
BOTH
Find the only option that satisfies two different clues at the same time.
How to play
- Read Clue A and Clue B together.
- Check each option against both conditions.
- Choose the single answer that satisfies both clues.
- Complete five independent rounds.
How scoring works
- Each correct round is worth 200 points.
- Five correct answers score 1,000 points.
- There is no benefit to choosing an answer that satisfies only one clue.
Tip: Solve each clue separately, then look for the intersection.
ONLY FIVE
Exactly five of nine tiles share one hidden property. Select the five that belong.
How to play
- Inspect all nine tiles before choosing.
- Select exactly five tiles that you believe share the hidden rule.
- Submit your five. After the first attempt you receive only a count of how many were correct.
- Use that feedback for one final attempt.
How scoring works
- First-attempt solve: 1,000 points.
- Second-attempt solve: 800 points.
- If the rule is not solved, a reduced completion score is awarded.
Tip: The rule must explain all five selected tiles and exclude all four others.
