What we collect

7Puzzles.com can be played without creating an account. For anonymous play, we use a first-party player identifier so we can remember today's progress, scores and streak activity on that browser.

If you create an optional profile, we also process the account information needed to sign you in, such as your email address and optional profile name.

Gameplay data

We store information needed to run the games and rankings, including puzzle attempts, answers, scores, completion times, streak activity and daily totals. For 99%, your response may also be stored for internal product analysis; the scoring benchmark uses fixed general reference data rather than the current live player sample.

Analytics

We record limited first-party product events such as whether a result was shared. We use this to understand completion, retention and sharing. If you submit beta feedback, we store the category, message and page path you provide so we can investigate the report. We do not currently use third-party behavioural advertising trackers.

Cookies and local identifiers

We use cookies and similar browser storage that are necessary for gameplay continuity, authentication, security and remembering whether a one-off celebration has already been shown. If we add non-essential advertising or analytics technologies later, we will review consent requirements before enabling them.

Service providers

The service is hosted using infrastructure providers including Vercel and Neon. These providers process data as needed to host the application, database and authentication service.

Your controls

If you have a profile, the Profile page lets you clear your puzzle history while keeping your account, or permanently delete your 7Puzzles.com account and associated gameplay data.

Anonymous players can clear the site's cookies/storage in their browser to remove the local identifier, although server-side anonymous gameplay records may remain in aggregated or pseudonymous form where they are no longer linked to an account.

Rankings and sharing

Public gameplay surfaces use percentile-style performance information rather than publishing a named leaderboard. Shared results are created by the player using the Share or Copy controls.
